Please read these terms carefully before booking a cab or car rental with Saraswathi Car Rentals.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a cab, contacting us via WhatsApp, or using the website saraswathicarrental.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with any booking.
These terms apply to all types of services offered by Saraswathi Car Rentals including local cab service, airport transfers, outstation trips, corporate cabs, and tour packages.
2. Booking and Confirmation
- All bookings must be confirmed via WhatsApp (+91 82172 63864) or phone call. Enquiries via the website contact form are booking requests, not confirmed bookings.
- A booking is confirmed only after our team sends a written confirmation on WhatsApp with driver details and trip information.
- Please ensure your name, phone number, pickup location, and travel date are accurate at the time of booking.
- We recommend booking at least 2–4 hours in advance for local trips and at least 12–24 hours in advance for outstation and airport trips.
No advance payment required. You pay the driver directly at the end of your trip. Payment is accepted in cash or UPI.
3. Fares and Charges
All fares quoted on our website are indicative. The final fare is confirmed at the time of booking via WhatsApp.

Fares are subject to change without prior notice. Confirmed booking fares will be honoured.
4. Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellations
- Cancellations made more than 4 hours before the scheduled pickup — no charge.
- Cancellations made within 2–4 hours of scheduled pickup — 25% of the fare may be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 2 hours of scheduled pickup or no-show — 50% of the fare may be charged.
- For outstation trips, cancellation within 12 hours of departure may attract a cancellation fee. Confirm at the time of booking.
Cancellations by Us
- In rare cases (vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability, extreme weather), we reserve the right to cancel or modify a booking.
- We will notify you immediately and arrange an alternative vehicle where possible. If no alternative is available, a full refund of any advance payment (if any) will be processed.
Note: Cancellation fees are at our discretion. We always aim to be fair. For any disputes regarding cancellation charges, please contact us directly.
5. Passenger Responsibilities
- Passengers must be ready at the agreed pickup location and time. Waiting time beyond 15 minutes may attract an additional waiting charge.
- Passengers are responsible for their own luggage. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.
- Smoking, alcohol consumption, and consumption of food that may stain upholstery are not permitted inside the vehicle.
- Passengers must follow all traffic laws and instructions from the driver for road safety.
- Any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers will be billed to the responsible party.
- Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Child safety seats are not provided unless specifically arranged.
6. Driver Conduct and Service Standards
- Our drivers are trained professionals. They will follow the agreed route unless redirected by the customer.
- Drivers are not permitted to refuse a trip once confirmed except in cases of safety concern.
- Drivers carry valid driving licence, vehicle registration, and insurance documents as required by law.

7. Vehicle and Route
- The vehicle type confirmed at booking will be provided. In case of unavailability, a similar or upgraded vehicle may be substituted.
- Routes displayed on our website are indicative. Actual routes may vary due to traffic, road conditions, or diversions.
- Travel time estimates are approximate and not guaranteed.
8. Limitation of Liability
Saraswathi Car Rentals shall not be liable for:
- Delays or cancellations caused by traffic, road closures, weather, or force majeure events
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings of passengers
- Any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use of our services
- Missed flights, trains, or events due to unforeseen delays
Our maximum liability in any circumstance is limited to the fare paid for the relevant trip.
9. Insurance
All our vehicles carry valid commercial vehicle insurance as required under the Motor Vehicles Act. Passenger insurance under this policy applies during the trip. However, we strongly recommend passengers carry their own travel insurance for outstation trips.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. The "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
